In an age increasingly dominated by machine-created sounds, DJ-Producer, Rebecca Vasmant, is bringing a fresh new twist to dance music with her irrepressible love of jazz.
She’s already made a name in Glasgow with her residency at Sub Club, bringing one of the first nights for decades booking and promoting live Jazz at the venue, whilst also running a popular record fair with the venerable venue and a spot on BBC Radio Scotland. A huge jazz fan, she airs her musical passion at key events like Worldwide Festival Sete, Glasgow Jazz Festival, EFG London Jazz Festival, Jazz Cafe London, Kasheme Zurich, Brilliant Corners, Casper Montenegro and the Baltic Soul Weekender, with a new residency at Ronnie Scott’s as part of the ‘Panro’ collective.
